Location: T21N, R3W, Section 2, Sheep Rock.
From Council, ID to Cuprum, ID-Road #105 through Cuprum, turn on #106-steep windy ridge top road to Sheep Rock. There is a lot of mining history in the vicinity also. Access to Sheep Rock is a steep, windy, narrow road that is not suitable for RV's or large trailers.
Short scenic views loop trail, goes to nice overlook of Hells Canyon. No interpretive features due to wildfire in 1988
