The trailheads are located just off the West Fork of Quartz Creek Rd., 14 miles northwest of Libby and the junction of the Yaak River and Seventeen Mile Rds.

The trail and lookouts were at Arbo, Skyline, and Quartz Mountains were constructed for fire suppression
