Driving Directions

Take Hwy 130 south from Cloudcroft for 1.9 miles. Turn right (west) onto Sunspot Hwy (36563) for 0.2 miles. Paved pullout at entrance to Slide campground - trailhead parking.

Description

Located on western rim of NM's Sacramento Mountains, the Rim Trail winds through pine and fir trees, quaking aspen and meadows. Several access points from Hwy 6563.
