Location: Rural, On Lake Ouachita at Denby Point Recreation Area, 27 mi. W of Hot Springs.
From Hot Springs, AR take Hwy 270 West 27 miles toward Mount Ida, AR. Turn on Ouachita Shores Parkway. Continue to Denby Point Recreation area. Buckskin Nature trail is located in Denby Point Recreation Area.
Buckskin Nature Trail is a 0.5 mile interpretive trail located in Denby Point Recreation Area. The trail will take approximately 40 minutes to complete. Guide books are available that correspond with the trail markers that identify unique and common features to the area. Buckskin Nature Trail joins Woodpecker Hollow Nature Trail, which is also a 0.5 mile interpretive trail.
