Hwy 85 (Sedalia) take State Hwy 67 10 miles W to Indian Creek Work Center. 9 miles S. on Rampart Range Road to trail head at parking lot at Devils Head picnic site/camp. From S. take Rampart Range Road from Woodland Park or Hwy 67 from Deckers.
Description
Trail leads to fire lookout with 360 view of Pike National Forest, plains. Interpretative signs along trail explaining the role of forest fires. Climb 948 ft through ponderosa pine/douglas fir forest, to granite outcrop.
