Description
The Fishhook Creek Nature Trail is a boardwalk and native surface trail that leads from the Redfish Lake Visitor Center through and over Fishhook Creek. Interpretive signs along the route describe the story of the wetland and gives opportunities to see beaver activity and salmon spawning. Kokanee salmon spawn in the creek and Redfish Lake each fall. If and when endangered Sockeye salmon and reestablished in Redfisk Lake, they would also be visible during spawning. There are beautiful views of the Sawtooth peaks from the trail.
