From I81 take I581 exit at Roanoke south on US 220 to Rocky Mount. Follow park signs north on VA Route 122. From US 29 at Lynchburg take US 460 W to Bedford, and VA 122 south.

Trail loops from the tobacco barn through woods and fields - acres of original Burroughs property (slave owners). Detailed notes on the native fauna, flora used by our ancestors, and history of the route accompany the trail.
